The industrial park Phoenix – Valley of Innovation is one of the region’s most ambitious projects, designed to establish a new model of industrial environment in Ukraine. The abmk team developed a concept that integrates production, research, and service infrastructure into a single, self-sufficient space, making the most efficient use of a site spanning more than 11 hectares.
The park encompasses more than 65,000 square meters of production space and follows the “city within a city” principle — with its own logistics system, office facilities, R&D zones, and high-performance data centers. Its architecture is driven by sustainability and contemporary aesthetics, where technology, efficiency, and comfort speak the shared language of the future.
We tend to see industrial territories not as neglected zones of the past but as spaces of opportunity. In Drohobych, this approach has been realized on a full scale. We began with what matters most — reading the context: analyzing logistics, connections to city networks, topography, and the potential of existing structures. Two buildings that have retained their structural integrity will be integrated into the new framework as administrative and production facilities, while the rest will make way for modern infrastructure, green corridors, and open spaces for future residents.
The project also includes a new substation with a capacity of about 7 MW and the potential installation of solar panels on the rooftops of production buildings — solutions that enhance energy efficiency and reflect a commitment to sustainable development.
Among the park’s key directions are microelectronics and chip design, which form the foundation of modern industry, as well as high-performance underground data centers that ensure the continuous operation of the park’s digital infrastructure.
The project embodies the Quadruple Helix approach — cooperation between business, science, government, and the community, forming a shared innovation ecosystem. This collaboration transforms the park from a manufacturing hub into a platform for regional growth and development.
For our team, this project is more than construction.
It’s the creation of a new industrial ecosystem where architecture, technology, and social responsibility work together toward a shared goal — regional development, new employment opportunities, and a sustainable economy.
The project’s visualizations and presentation video were created in collaboration with MARYGOLD studio.
